novaVAC

Poultry Vaccination Instruments

novaVAC is the name of a special product group designed for the vaccination of day-old and older chicks in hatcheries and field with oily and water-based vaccines. novaVAC consists of two main instrument types: injection and spray.

Injection Group: This group currently has 4 different instruments designed for the different needs of the users. Please click the links below for the specifications of each product.

novaVAC Injection Group ensures minimum applied dosage deviation regardless of the viscosity of the vaccine and the vaccine type (water-based or oily). With 2000 doses vaccine, the number of vaccinated birds is 1995-2000 in oily vaccines and 1986-2014 in water-based vaccines with a dosage safety of +/- %0,25-0,70 which is 10 times higher than fully calibrated classical instruments. Full dosage vaccine intake is directly related with the vaccination performance.

novaVAC Injection Group Instruments has double injection speed when compared to classical vaccination instruments even in simultaneous application of oily and water-based vaccines. This speed is not related with viscosity and enables significant savings due to number of instruments and operators needed to complete the vaccination.

Spray Group: Novakim Mectech designs and produces high technology instruments for spray vaccination. novaVAC Dropjet series consists of various instrument types designed to be used both in the hatchery and in the field for day-old chicks and older pullets.

  • Injectors of Dropjet series can be adjusted automatically (10-25 ml) and are made up of polycarbonate which minimises the material wear by usage and therefore eliminates the necessity to keep injector inventory all the time.
  • Dropjet series also have a vaccination waste water collection unit.
  • The nozzles of the Dropjet series can be adjusted according to the desired droplet size. Their position can also be adjusted vertically and horizontally inside the cabinet.

Dropjet H-150, H-150p, H-150c and C-150 are for hatchery vaccination, Dropjet F-150 is for field vaccination of day-old chicks and Dropjet Cage Erps-4, Erps-6 and Erps-10 are for spray vaccination of caged poultry. Please click the links below for the specifications of each product.

The cost of vaccination represents a small portion of total costs in a poultry integration. However, the benefit of vaccination can be very high when compared to its cost. Therefore, one of the most important activities in an integration should be the management of vaccination applications. Full vaccine intake should only be ensured with the combination of experienced operator and a well-designed and configurated vaccination instrument. These two components should work together for a safe, easy and accurate vaccination.
